EcoOnline Expands Irish Presence in Limerick

EcoOnline today announced the official opening of a new 7,000 square ft office in Limerick, doubling its office space in an ongoing commitment to innovation and growth in the Irish and UK market.

The opening ceremony was attended by local and national dignitaries including Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen and Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Councillor James Collins.

The office will serve as a centre of excellence and operational centre to support EcoOnline’s existing and expanding high profile client base in Ireland, United Kingdom and globally.

EcoOnline is currently hiring for various departments in its Limerick office, which include IT development, customer support and account management team. The projected growth is anticipated to increase its workforce from 34 employees to 45 over the next 18 months.

Since EcoOnline’s acquisition of DCM Compliance last April the injection of investment in resources and talent reaffirms the firm’s long-term commitment to grow and offer best in class solutions. The goal is to be not only the leading chemical safety software provider but also to expand its offering to solidify its position as the No. 1 preferred Health and Safety Software tool to protect people and the environment.

The EcoOnline team in Limerick has extensive expertise in the Chemical Safety and SAAS software sector but more recently has evolved into expanding its product portfolio and has this month released a full-service Health and Safety Software solution product Safety Manager.

Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen added: “I am delighted to open EcoOnline’s new premises in Limerick and very much welcome their continued expansion. I am confident that with their increased product offering and further expansion plans, they will continue to thrive in the increasingly vibrant Mid-West region for many years to come.”

IDA Ireland’s Emerging Business Division Manager Rory Mullen said: “This expansion and designation as a Centre of Excellence and operational centre to support its client base in Ireland, the UK and globally, is a great vote of confidence by EcoOnline in its Limerick operation and testament to the company’s commitment to Limerick and Ireland.  I wish the company continued success.”
