Responsible Business Compass

The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment is delighted to invite you to the Responsible Business Compass kick-off event which has been developed in conjunction with the OECD and funded by the European Commission.

Responsible Business

Members of the business community, policymakers, academics and more are encouraged to attend this event to gain insight into and contribute towards the development of the Responsible Business Compass.

The evolving responsible business regulatory sphere poses many challenges for policymakers and businesses in Ireland but also provides opportunities. The aim of the compass is to help businesses better understand their responsibilities in this space which should help reduce the administrative burden on their operations, which is particularly important for SMEs.

The event will take place from 9:30am to 5pm at 15 George’s Quay, Dublin 2 on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

Highlights include:

  • address from Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation, Niamh Smyth
  • keynote addresses from both the OECD and the European Commission
  • opportunity for hands-on experimentation with the OECD’s Power BI tool and live feedback
