Policy Papers/Strategies
The Tourism Policy Framework for the period to 2030 was approved in November 2024. An examination of how commitments in the Programme for Government align with the Policy Framework has been undertaken and work on drafting a new Tourism Policy Statement is at an advanced stage.
The new policy will ensure a strong, resilient tourism sector which benefits every community in Ireland and will also reflect tourism’s new positioning in the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment.
